LG range igniter replacement
Two different igniters live on a gas range and they are not the same job: the surface igniters that spark the cooktop burners, and the oven igniter that has to draw enough current to open the gas valve. Both are ordinary repairs and both are preceded by the cleaning that fixes a good proportion of them for nothing.

Electric · gas · dual fuel · induction · slide-in and freestanding · ProBake · InstaView LG range repair in Miami
LG's cooking catalog runs to 397 products and the ranges are the center of it: LRE for electric, LRG for gas, with slide-in and freestanding cabinets, induction tops, ProBake convection that moves the element to the back wall, and InstaView doors you knock on to light. The published code list is the F-series, and it is more useful than most because the numbers separate the upper oven from the lower one and the oven from the cooktop.
- Electric, gas, dual fuel and induction, slide-in and freestanding
- F1 to F34 published, and the number says which cavity and which part
- ProBake convection, Air Fry, and InstaView on the doors

Induction · radiant electric · gas · 30 and 36 inch LG cooktop repair in Miami
The drop-in half of the cooking line — LCE and its neighbors — in induction, radiant electric and gas, at thirty and thirty-six inches. Induction is where LG has put its effort, and it changes what a failure is: an induction top has no element to fail, it has coils, a board and a temperature sensor per burner, and the codes reflect that. F33 and F34 are front induction burner temperature sensors and exist on nothing else in the range.
- Induction, radiant electric and gas, at 30 and 36 inches
- F33 and F34 are induction burner sensors; H5 is a hot-surface indicator, not an error
- On glass tops, a spill under the panel is a real and common cause

About LG range igniter replacement
A burner that clicks and clicks after a spill
It is the commonest version of this call and it is often free. A boil-over leaves moisture and salt around the igniter, the control keeps trying, and every burner on the range clicks together while none of them lights. Switch it all off, lift the grates and the caps, dry the area completely, and clear the slot in the burner cap with a straightened paper clip rather than anything abrasive. Give it an hour if it was properly wet. If one burner alone still refuses while the others behave, that igniter has aged out. Do not cook on it while it is clicking, because gas is coming out either way.

Questions about LG range igniter replacement
The oven takes several tries to light now.
That is the other igniter, and it is the one that ages predictably. It has to draw enough current to open the valve, and it weakens for months before it stops entirely, so a slow light is your warning.
Can I clean an igniter with a wire brush?
Please do not. It is a ceramic element and it chips. A dry toothbrush and a paper clip are the right tools, and one that has been chipped has to be replaced.
